ABOUT
SUMMER OF LOVE
A Tribute to the Music of 1967
SUMMER OF LOVE is a talent-filled tribute to the music of 1967 – a turning point in musical history as a new kind of music streamed across the airwaves.
San Francisco became the epicenter of a social phenomenon when thousands of Flower Children converged on the city's Haight-Ashbury district to join the hippie movement. They were searching for love, freedom, and music – and perhaps a few mind-altering chemicals. It was a time filled with far-out clothes and beautiful people turning on, tuning in and dropping out.
With faithful execution of the music guaranteed to “take you back” to 1967, SUMMER OF LOVE is a multi-media show featuring professional performances of hits from Scott McKenzie, The Beatles, The Doors, Amboy Dukes, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Buffalo Springfield, Jefferson Airplane, Turtles, Stone Poneys, Cream, Youngbloods, and more.
SUMMER OF LOVE merges the talents of seasoned vocalists and musicians into an unforgettable presentation of 1967 and THE SUMMER OF LOVE.
